Why it's different

"Generates motor, VFD, conveyor, robot, and safety screens automatically — from your ForgeOps config."

HMIAutoGenerator reads your machine's IO list and device types. A VFD entry becomes a speed setpoint faceplate with run/stop/fault indicators. A conveyor entry becomes a status panel with speed feedback and E-stop indicator. No screen drawing required.

"HTML5 runtime — deploy to any panel PC with a browser. No proprietary runtime license."

The exported HTML file connects via WebSocket to ForgeOps tag server. Live tag data updates at 100ms. Works on Windows panel PCs, iPad kiosks, or any browser. No WinCC, no FactoryTalk View license, no per-screen runtime fee.

"Ignition XML export — for sites already running Ignition, screens load as a native project."

Exports Ignition 8.1 component format. Buttons, indicators, numeric displays, and trend charts map to their Ignition equivalents. Import via Gateway → Designer → File → Import.

From machine config to live HMI

Connect to ForgeOps, click Auto-Generate, and have a working HMI in the time it used to take to draw one screen.

1

Connect to ForgeOps

Manual

Point ForgeHMI at your ForgeOps instance. The tag browser loads your machine's IO list, device types, and signal names automatically.

2

Auto-Generate Screens

Automated

Click Auto-Generate. HMIAutoGenerator creates one screen per device type: motor faceplates, VFD control panels, conveyor monitoring, robot cell status, safety zone indicators.

3

Customize in the Canvas

Manual

Drag widgets, resize panels, add trend charts, change layouts. Everything in the auto-generated screens is editable. Add custom screens for your specific machine logic.

4

Deploy or Export

Manual

Export as HTML5 (WebSocket runtime, deploy to any browser), or Ignition XML (import to existing Ignition project). Screen updates deploy instantly — no PLC download required.
